Diverse Learning Opportunities

ITS offers an extensive internship program, partnering with prestigious universities, to provide Masters Level counseling and social work students with hands-on experience across a wide demographic, from children to adults, within our outpatient mental health clinic and school systems. Interns gain invaluable clinical skill development through a substantial amount of direct client interaction and full immersion in the treatment process.

Comprehensive Clinical Exposure

Our interns manage independent caseloads, performing assessments, treatment planning, and documentation, mirroring the professional responsibilities of our staff. With options to work in school programs, clinic settings, or community-based services, including telehealth, interns receive a multifaceted experience tailored to their educational and professional goals.

Supportive Professional Development:

We nurture our interns with thorough orientation, weekly licensed supervision, group sessions, and continuous educational opportunities, including free seminars for continuing education. Interns are encouraged to engage in a long-term relationship with ITS, with a post-graduation employment commitment, and are supported through the national licensing exam and state licensure process, ensuring they are well-prepared for a successful career as licensed clinicians.
