My work experience in mental health started as a personal care staff in a group home for individuals with autism while enrolled in nursing school. It was a rewarding experience for me so I decided to focus on mental health after my graduation. I worked as a psychiatric nurse in a forensic unit for 8 years after graduating college. I also have four years of experience as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient unit of a community hospital.

I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Doctorate degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing in 2018. Since graduation, I have been working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner both in Maryland and other states.My clinical experience over the years encompasses diverse clinical settings such as school-based program, mobile treatment program, day hospital, and geriatric home-based program within my agency. My clinical experiences have contributed greatly to my wealth of knowledge.. Currently, I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management to individuals across the life span
