I have worked with individuals of all ages in the community, school, and homes to provide therapeutic services and support for over 20 years. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor providing telehealth mental health services to individuals in the State of Maryland. The primary therapeutic approaches and focus used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy, to assist clients in acknowledging the power their thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors influence and can impact the choices they make. My primary objective is to provide support and guidance in individual's regaining their power and motivation to progress and find stability in their day to day lives through mindfulness, building on their strengths, and restructuring the way they think about their healing processes.

Denaysha Bowen is a licensed mastered social worker in Maryland. She has earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Shaw University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland-Baltimore. Denaysha is pursuing a Doctorate of Education with a concentration in Educational Psychology from Regent University.
Denaysha has years of professional experience working with children/adolescents and adults, servicing them in short-term housing shelters, hospitals, and schools.
She is passionate about working with children and teens who want to work towards being their authentic selves. Denaysha has experience with working with school-aged students in the areas of depression, anxiety, school-related stressors, and relationship struggles in the form of group, individual, and family therapy.

Jenny Winkert
Hi I'm Jenny! I am a clinician and rehabilitation specialist at Innovative Therapeutic Services. I graduated with my masters from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in May 2020. I have been working at ITS for several years, beginning as an intern in 2018. I have years of experience utilizing psychotherapies with various backgrounds and populations. My mission is to foster a safe and positive space in order to help people grow. I believe therapy can be a valuable first step for many! And as such, that is why I think it is important to make you feel heard and seen through this process as much as possible. I believe that all people are unique and deserve a calm space to positively explore themselves. I understand the importance of developing a trusting working relationship with my clients.
PRP is a wonderful program that assists therapy clients to reach their potential and their individual daily living needs in an action-based way, in addition to providing access to resources. I provide direct support to both clients and their PRP coordinators to foster success in this program.
In my downtime, I love to travel, cook, play video games, make candles, and spend time with my loved ones.

Judith is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is certified through the American Nursing Credentialing Center, and has over 13 years of nursing experience in providing quality care to patients. She is experienced in providing psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan including children, adolescents, and adults. Judith believes that applying evidence-based treatments and forming a good rapport with patients and their family is vital in formulating an effective treatment plan. She is experienced and skilled in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders such as Depression, Adjustment disorder, Anxiety disorders, Panic Disorders, Substance abuse, Schizophrenia & Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar disorders, Eating disorders, and ADHD. Judith is a lifelong learner and has earned 2 Master’s Degrees. She received her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a Master of Science in nursing from Walden University. I have experience providing counseling services to various individuals, particularly adolescents and young adults. I’m trained in trauma-informed care and utilize a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling to foster hope, healing, and resilience. I value honesty, integrity, and open communication within therapeutic relationships.
I implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness Strategies to work on goals defined by my clients collaboratively. I provide a safe space where clients can tell their stories, gain self-awareness, and implement healthy strategies to see their lives improve. Jennifer is a State of Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 20+ years of experience in education, community based mental health and working with children and their families. Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Shepherd University and pursued her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from American Public University.
Jennifer's has been a vital member of the ITS staff since 2017, while her primary role as the clinical director is to oversee the day to day operations of our outpatient clinic and to supervise staff Jennifer keeps up her clinical skills by maintaining a small client caseload.
Jennifer works with each client in a compassionate, non-judgmental, and personalized manner to meet their individual needs. Jennifer uses a strength-based approach in her work and believes that it is important to motivate, empower and encourage each individual to achieve their goals.

Ashley Rooney
Hi there! My name is Ashley Rooney, and I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I have worked with Innovative Therapeutic Services since 2021. I have interest in working with adolescents, teenagers, and young adults, though I have experience with clients of all ages. I work with a wide range of issues including PTSD, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, grief, and attachment disorders. I specialize in Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, and depressive disorders. My goal is to help my clients incorporate beneficial coping skills into their daily living while learning to build trust and healthy communication skills with their friends and family. I am trained in both CBT and DBT and am familiar with Trauma Focused CBT. My goal is to facilitate positive change in my clients that both they, and I are proud of.

My name is Colleen Carter. I am currently a masters level social worker and have been practicing in the social work field since 2015. My passion and career focus has been working with children and families. I began providing therapy services for ITS in January 2021. I currently provide services for children and adults and enjoy the variety of age and backgrounds. I chose this work to be able to provide a service that can assist an individual and/or family on their journey towards healing. I enjoy helping clients build self-confidence and self-empowerment, learn the benefits of mindfulness practice, and developing coping skills. My main focus for therapeutic modalities are CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness practice.

My name is Chelsea and I have been practicing therapy for 7 years. I have extensive experience in anxiety, depressive disorders, childhood disorders, substance abuse treatment and trauma. Tori Taylor is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) with over 3 years of clinical mental health experience. Tori holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland. Tori’s education along with the therapeutic approaches she incorporates allows her to provide a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental environment for clients to address various concerns that impacts their spiritual, mental, and physical well-being, in short-their mental health. Tori utilizes various modalities, but mainly incorporates Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral therapeutic approaches.
Tori is adept at working with diverse clients, and currently work on both the clinic and school-based side of ITS. Tori’s diverse clients include adolescents within Anne Arundel Public Middle School, along with clinic clients across the full life-span. Tori helps clients address a wide range of concerns, including: trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, and grief.

Nicole Bushnell
Nicole Bushnell is a Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW)in the state of Maryland and obtained her Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. She holds a certificate as a Certified Clinician Trauma Professional (CCTP) to provide clients an evidence-based framework for navigating past trauma and help clients rediscover joy and happiness within their lives. Nicole has a variety of experience working with children and youth within the military community as well as providing parent support to enhance their parenting knowledge and skills. Her past experience includes interning with the Family Advocacy Program where served active duty service members and their families in a group setting while also providing individual sessions for new mothers needing support as they discover the challenges of motherhood. During this time, Nicole also worked as a domestic abuse victim advocate serving the military community providing support, advocacy, referral, and assistance to victims within the military community. She currently works as a school-based clinician serving primarily children of active duty service members and/or retirees. Nicole’s focus has been working with students challenged by the transitions associated with the military culture, emotional and behavioral challenges, and traumatic backgrounds. She has experience working with children who have Autism, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD and Adjustment Disorders.

Sara Pirmohamed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. She has been a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor for five years and provides therapy services to children, adolescents and families as part of the School Mental Health Program within Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Ms. Pirmohamed received specialized training in working with young children and families as part of internships with the University of Maryland Secure Starts Program, and has ample training in play and art therapy. These unique training experiences have formed the basis of her therapeutic approach which is trauma informed, family focused and developmentally oriented to the individual child/adolescent. She believes her role as a child therapist is to facilitate the child to express themselves while assisting families in understanding and supporting their child.

Meet LaTasha, a licensed Mastered social worker. She has experience working with children and families in foster care as well as children and adults experiencing, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues and other mental health disorders.
LaTasha is very passionate about her work and incorporates therapeutic interventions and strategies that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and coping strategies. LaTasha is currently a school-based therapist and shares that her goal is to provide an overall safe space for children and adolescents to express themselves and navigate school/home life.

Rebecca is passionate about her work with children and families. Nicole Taylor is a licensed counselor in the state of Maryland. She is also a board certified supervisor. She earned her Masters of Science Degree in Applied Psychology at the University of Baltimore and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Tampa.
Nicole’s professional experience comes from providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, such as schools, outpatient substance abuse treatment center, crisis intervention center, state correctional institutions, and private practice.
She has experience in counseling individuals with a variety of issues, such as adjustment problems, depression, anxiety, bereavement, and substance abuse. She has experience in clinical services that include individual therapy, group therapy, couples counseling, and family counseling.
In her free time she likes to spend time with her family or time exercising, such as playing recreational soccer.

She received her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Faith has provided counseling to children, adolescents, and adults.
Faith takes an individualized and strengths-based approach to therapy and works with each client to identify their goals and find the approach that works best for them, whether that be CBT, person centered, play therapy, art therapy, mindfulness, solution focused, etc.

My work experience in mental health started as a personal care staff in a group home for individuals with autism while enrolled in nursing school. It was a rewarding experience for me so I decided to focus on mental health after my graduation. I worked as a psychiatric nurse in a forensic unit for 8 years after graduating college. I also have four years of experience as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient unit of a community hospital. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Doctorate degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing in 2018. Since graduation, I have been working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner both in Maryland and other states.My clinical experience over the years encompasses diverse clinical settings such as school-based program, mobile treatment program, day hospital, and geriatric home-based program within my agency. My clinical experiences have contributed greatly to my wealth of knowledge.. Currently, I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management to individuals across the life span

Allison has over 20 years of experience with a diverse group of individuals, ranging from children through adults, in both counseling and educational settings. She has worked with foster care, underprivileged, and drug/alcohol recovery, to name a few of her familiar populations. She has a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in Psychology, and a Master's of Science degree from McDaniel College, in Counseling Education. She also took additional classes to become a licensed therapist from McDaniel College. Allison is non-judgmental, approachable and caring while letting clients grow in their journey, at their own pace. Allison works with each individual in a personalized manner to help them reach their goals; she focuses on their strengths rather than their weaknesses or failures.
