Allison Dahne, LCPC , brings 11 years of diverse experience to her practice, having worked in foster care, as a school counselor, and in outpatient mental health. She provides telehealth services to adolescents and adults, and also works within Baltimore County Public Schools.


Allison is a supportive and authentic professional who prioritizes building strong relationships with her clients. She dedicates time to establish a comfortable rapport, cultivating an environment where clients feel heard and understood. While skilled at offering practical solutions, Allison also empowers clients to uncover their own answers, holding a strong belief in each individual's capacity for self-improvement. Her approach stems from the conviction that everyone can improve their lives, especially when supported within a warm and nurturing environment.


Allison employs an integrative approach, drawing from person-centered Therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, social skills training, strengths-based therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT. She has received specialized training in Trauma-Focused CBT.


Allison treats a wide range of common issues, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, body image issues, chronic pain, depression, disordered eating, domestic violence, family issues, grief, challenges for the LGBTQ+ Community, postpartum issues, racial trauma, self-esteem , stress management, and trauma.


In her free time, Allison enjoys traveling, attending concerts, festivals, and movies, and spending time with her family.
