Alon Raveh
LMSW
Therapist
Alon Raveh brings 10 years of experience, including previous roles in school settings and social services.
Alon's method is integrative, drawing from humanistic, person-centered, psychodynamic, and strengths-based theories, as well as Trauma-Focused CBT and DBT. He has specialized training in DBT for children and teens and trauma and poverty-aware therapy.
His approach is centered on empowering individuals by developing a diverse set of practical and psychological coping skills. This foundational skill-building leads to a deeper, more nuanced self-awareness. Clients move beyond mere symptom management toward a holistic understanding of the underlying patterns and triggers influencing their emotional and behavioral responses.
The ultimate goal is to facilitate more effective management of symptoms and behaviors, including emotional regulation, stress reduction, improving interpersonal communication, and making conscious, long-term well-being choices. The skills taught are immediately applicable, fostering a sense of control and competence in navigating life's challenges.
Alon currently provides in-person therapy to students in Anne Arundel County Public Schools in our school-based program.
In his free time, Alon enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with dogs and other animals, family activities, and videogaming.
