Antonio Hedgepeth, LMSW, is dedicated to improving access to mental health and addiction services, advocating strongly for vulnerable populations. His therapeutic approach focuses on healing, resilience, and self-awareness, empowering individuals to regain control of their lives.


Antonio views therapy not as a search for quick fixes, but as the creation of a "Brave Space" where individuals can explore their strengths, identify barriers, and develop a clear path to growth. He aims to be a trustworthy support during your most challenging moments.


With over seven years of experience in the mental health field, Antonio is a certified peer recovery specialist and has completed a substance use disorder fellowship. He currently provides therapy services to students in Prince George's County Schools.


Utilizing a person-centered approach, Antonio integrates various treatment modalities, including Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, narrative therapy, play therapy, psychodynamic theory, rational emotive theory, social skills training, strengths-based therapy, and trauma-focused CBT. He also offers Integrated Christian counseling for those who desire this perspective. Antonio is skilled in treating a wide range of challenges, such as addiction, ADHD, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, chronic pain, communication issues, depression, domestic violence, grief, LGBTQ+ concerns, life transitions, OCD, panic disorders, personality disorders, postpartum concerns, self-esteem challenges, spirituality, stress management, trauma, and family concerns.


Outside of his professional life, Antonio enjoys spending time with his family and painting.
