LGPC
Therapist
Arianna Ugalde, LGPC, is a non-traditional therapist dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. She offers both in-person sessions at our Hagerstown office and convenient telehealth options for older adolescents and adults.
Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in an integrative, person-centered, and strengths-based approach, thoughtfully informed by her experience in community mental health and her previous role as an ABA therapist. She prioritizes cultural sensitivity, acknowledging and respecting the diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and values clients bring into the therapeutic space.
Clients working with Arianna can expect unwavering empathy and robust support as they navigate life's challenges. She creates a therapeutic alliance built on trust and understanding, fostering an environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. Beyond just listening, Arianna equips her clients with practical and effective tools, carefully selected and tailored to each individual. These tools are designed to assist them in their healing journey, develop coping mechanisms, and cultivate resilience for long-term well-being. Her ultimate goal is to empower clients to not only overcome current difficulties but also to thrive independently beyond the therapeutic relationship.
Clients frequently seek Arianna's expertise for a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, stress, and trauma. To effectively address these concerns, Arianna has pursued specialized training and holds certifications in two highly effective modalities: Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She integrates these powerful techniques into her therapeutic work, particularly leveraging them to facilitate profound and lasting trauma reprocessing, empowering individuals on their healing journeys.
Arianna is also a member of our Quality Assurance Review Team and monitors clinician’s documentation and billing weekly.
In her free time, Arianna enjoys art, traveling, watching movies, volunteering, and dancing.
