Bridgette Howard-Rose

LCSW-C

Therapist

Bridgette Howard-Rose, LCSW-C, understands that change is an inherent part of life, and while constant, these shifts are not always welcome or easy to navigate. She recognizes that it is precisely during these difficult transitions, when life presents overwhelming or unpleasant changes, that a critical need for support arises. Bridgette's professional work centers on cultivating a therapeutic environment that is both safe and non-judgmental, allowing individuals the opportunity  to address and process their challenges.  Her strength lies in offering a steadfast and dependable "sound place" where individuals can face life's obstacles, develop new coping strategies, and ultimately grow stronger.

With 20 years of experience as a therapist, Bridgette is also a Maryland Social Work Board Approved Supervisor. Her diverse background includes work in Adult Services at the Department of Social Services, hospital settings, and outpatient mental health.

Bridgette provides telehealth services to children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges. These include anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, body image issues, communication issues, family concerns, depression, divorce recovery, family related concerns, grief, life transitions, parenting and co-parenting, postpartum issues, self-esteem , stress management, and trauma. She employs an integrative, person-centered, strengths-based approach with her clients, utilizing various skills from psychodynamic theory, social skills training, play therapy, narrative therapy, and trauma-focused CBT.

Outside of her professional life, Bridgette enjoys traveling, spending time with family, watching movies, and being outdoors in nature.
