Therapist

Janese Matos, LGPC, is a dedicated and empathetic therapist with 4 years of clinical experience spanning School-Based Mental Health, Youth Development Centers, Community Mental Health, and Outpatient Counseling.

Janese believes that everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space where they feel truly heard, supported, and empowered to grow. She provides a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can safely explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity development, self-esteem, and life transitions. Drawing upon a person-centered foundation, Janese integrates evidence-based therapeutic modalities with creative expression, mindfulness, and emotional regulation techniques. Her holistic approach helps clients build resilience, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves. Ultimately, her goal is to equip clients with the tools and confidence needed to navigate life's complexities while fostering meaningful, lasting transformation.

Outside of her clinical practice, Janese enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, discovering new local restaurants and coffee shops, reading, engaging in creative arts, listening to music, and unwinding with movies and TV shows.
