Jenny Taft,LCSW-C, brings 8 years of therapy experience to her practice. She is also certified in Complex Trauma and as a Maryland Board Approved Clinical Social Work Supervisor.
Jenny offers a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed therapeutic style. She works with adolescents and adults, providing services at the Laurel Office and via telehealth. Her integrative approach blends a variety of ideas respecting each individual's unique journey and understanding that everyone's path to healing isn’t the same.
She specializes in working with individuals navigating challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, Communication Issues, depression, family related concerns, Grief, Life transitions, OCD, Panic Disorders, self-esteem , Stress management, Trauma, career stress, imposter syndrome, and artistic identity. Jenny values the therapeutic relationship, building genuine and trusting connections. She firmly believes in her clients' capacity to heal, grow, and reimagine their lives.
In her free time, Jenny enjoys making candles, singing, walking with loved ones or her dog, cooking, practicing yoga, attending concerts, and playing video games.
She is inspired by Viktor Frankl's quote: "Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with minor in Social Work from UMBC, Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Maryland School of Social Work
