June Cleary, LMSW has been dedicated to the human services field since 2017. She possesses over five years of diverse professional experience, encompassing school-based mental health therapy and community-based case management.
June adopts an approach to her clinical work with children and adolescents characterized by warmth, creativity, and authenticity. She integrates play therapy techniques to facilitate youth's natural and creative expression, cultivating a secure and compassionate environment where they can enhance self-confidence, fortify coping mechanisms, and experience validation. Furthermore, June places high value on collaborative engagement with families and support systems to ensure therapeutic progress is sustained beyond individual sessions. June currently works with individuals in our Hagerstown Office or via telehealth.
June offers support for a wide array of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD-related issues, grief and loss, stress management, anger management, difficulties in family communication, navigating significant life transitions, and boosting self-esteem. Her therapeutic approach is comprehensive, incorporating various modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. When working with younger clients, June frequently utilizes Play Therapy, supplemented by Social Skills Training and grounded in a Strengths-Based Therapy foundation.
Outside of work June enjoys Crafting, spending time with family and friends, gardening and reading.
