Lisa Ostroff is a dedicated PRP Coordinator passionate about empowering children, adolescents, and adults. She provides individualized support to foster essential skills in social interaction, emotion regulation, and daily living. Lisa also offers valuable psychoeducation to families, equipping them with the resources to navigate daily life successfully.
With a friendly and encouraging approach, Lisa creates a trustworthy and safe environment where individuals feel comfortable and confident. She empowers individuals and their families to thrive in their home, school, and community, helping them achieve their goals and become their best selves.
Lisa utilizes a client-centered, strength-based framework in her work. Her approach fosters a supportive and empowering environment, particularly for children and adolescents. She integrates techniques such as social skills training to help young clients develop crucial interpersonal abilities, and play therapy, a powerful tool for engaging children developmentally to explore emotions, communicate experiences, and practice new behaviors. This allows Lisa to effectively address a wide range of challenges, promoting healthy development and resilience in the children and adolescents she serves. Many of the individuals that Lisa works with experience challenges related to ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, communication, family issues, parenting concerns, life transitions, trauma, self-esteem challenges and stress management.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with family, creating art, exploring new places, watching movies, playing instruments, reading, and listening to self-help podcasts.
