Marcus is dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. He specializes in assisting individuals in navigating emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal challenges with honesty, empathy, and culturally-informed care. Utilizing a trauma-aware and client-centered approach, Marcus strives to meet clients where they are, guiding them toward growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
His therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. He skillfully incorporates a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. For his younger clients, Marcus expertly integrates play therapy techniques, recognizing that play is a natural and effective medium for children to express themselves, process emotions, and develop coping skills.
Marcus specializes in providing comprehensive support for individuals navigating a range of challenges. His areas of expertise include assisting those facing ADHD, where he helps develop strategies for improved focus, organization, and self-regulation. He also works extensively with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, guiding them towards greater emotional resilience and mental well-being. Furthermore, Marcus provides valuable support for families grappling with concerns and conflict, facilitating healthier communication and stronger relationships. He is also adept at addressing self-esteem issues, helping clients build a more positive self-image, and teaching effective strategies for managing stress in today's demanding world.
In his free time Marcus enjoys traveling, shopping, hanging out of friends and loves to be by the pool in the shade.
