Misty Cromartie

Misty Cromartie, CEO and co-owner of Innovative Therapeutic Services, possesses 24 years of expertise in the mental health sector. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Arts in Psychology from The Catholic University of America. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board-Approved Supervisor, Misty is instrumental in leading the company and its mental health professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. Her leadership and unwavering commitment to compassionate care have positioned Innovative Therapeutic Services as a beacon of hope and resilience within the community.

Misty's extensive background encompasses providing home and school-based therapy, as well as working in juvenile detention centers and substance use programs. She was inspired to establish an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic by recognizing disparities across various socioeconomic classes and a deep-seated desire to help as many individuals as possible. After knowing Marcia Hancock, COO and Co-Owner, for only a month through a part-time weekend job, Misty approached her to discuss opening a site. Their goal was to remove barriers to accessing services, such as transportation. They initially focused on delivering services in homes where the need was greatest and have since experienced continuous growth and prosperity.

In her free time, Misty likes going to live shows, eating great food, and watching TV.
