Monica's approach focuses on providing a secure environment for young people to explore their lives and develop essential coping skills to navigate life's transitions and challenges. She also actively involves parents in the therapeutic process, offering them valuable support and resources.
Monica addresses a wide range of common concerns affecting young people, including ADHD, anger management, anxiety, family issues, body image, depression, grief, panic disorders, self-esteem, and trauma. She utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to individual needs, incorporating methods such as person-centered therapy, play therapy, social skills training, strengths-based therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Outside of work, Monica enjoys traveling, crocheting, baking, and reading or writing fiction.
