Parisa Rahbar
Intern
Parisa Rahbar, Social Work intern from the University of Maryland, brings a wealth of diverse experience supporting individuals across clinical settings, K-12 schools, higher education, and community nonprofit organizations. Parisa is clinically supervised by Denaysha Bowen, LCSW-C.
Grounded in the core belief that healing occurs through authentic connection and that human dignity must always remain at the center of therapeutic work, Parisa offers clients a welcoming, collaborative, and compassionate space to reconnect with their true selves. She seeks to build a secure, supportive environment where individuals feel fully empowered to examine their personal challenges, develop resilience, and build effective coping mechanisms at a pace that honors their individual journey. Recognizing that genuine transformation is a shared process, Parisa serves as a steadfast, empathetic guide walking alongside her clients as they uncover their innate strengths. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, customizing her methods to align with the distinct needs and personal goals of each client. Deeply honoring the courage required to embark on therapy, Parisa is steadfastly dedicated to cultivating a safe harbor where clients feel genuinely accepted, valued, and free to show up as they truly are.
Outside of her clinical practice, Parisa loves exploring new places, thrifting, joining group fitness classes, experimenting with new recipes, and spending quality time in nature with those closest to her.
