With over five years of experience in diverse settings including schools, residential programs, and substance abuse treatment, Tamasha currently provides services to students in Prince George's County Public Schools.


Tamasha possesses a strong background in providing empathetic and effective support to individuals facing various mental health challenges. She is proficient in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT, which she tailors to meet each client's unique needs. Additionally, she is skilled in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution-Focused Therapy to foster positive change and growth. Tamasha is a multilingual communicator, proficient in English, Swahili, and fluent in Kirundi, committed to breaking down barriers and promoting inclusivity in mental health care.


She excels in fostering a trusting and supportive therapeutic environment through exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Tamasha utilizes a strength-based approach with clients, integrating other treatment modalities such as play therapy. She addresses a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, anger management, anxiety, communication challenges, depression, racial trauma, self-esteem challenges, stress management, trauma, and family concerns.


Outside of her professional life, Tamasha enjoys cooking, spending time with family, binge-watching international TV shows, traveling, and learning new languages.
